The Papineau Labelle fauna reserve has an area of 1628 km2. It contains more than 746 lakes and 27 rivers and streams. There is abundant fauna, such as deer, moose, bear, wolf, beaver, fox and hazel grouse, and many types of mammals, birds and a great variety of aquatic fauna. Composed of a mixed forest, we find species like maple tree, yellow birch, and many species of broad-leaved trees and resinous trees. Our 6 days raid goes through this natural universe, away from civilisation and dwelling.

5 and 6 days ride in the Réserve Papineau Labelle:
The circuit goes through lakes, rivers and forests. Abundant terrestial and aquatic fauna is present in the Réserve Papineau Labelle.

Day 1 The day begins with the presentation of the guide and horses. Start of a day in the forest. Lunch on the border of a Lake and bathing with the horses if the temperature permits. Return to the riding center around 5pm. Relax at the pool or the spa. Supper and night at the Inn.
Day 2 Start of the great adventure, towards the Réserve Papineau Labelle. We go along the Rivière du Lièvre, cross the covered bridges dating from 1903 and carry on to the village of Kiamika. We have our breakfast at the village's restaurant. We continue through the raspberry bushes, to get to the Réserve faunique Papineau Labelle. We reach the La Diable stream where we observe the numerous beaver dams. A small trail with bring us to our first camping site, at Lake Pimodan.
Day 3 The morning mist will bring us motivation to start our day early. Taking an old forest road, we will arrive around noon to Lake Joinville where will halt to bathe with our horse and for lunch! In the afternoon, we will go through undergrowth trails to get to our camping site of the day, at Lake Montjoie.
Day 4 After a hearty breakfast, we go along an old trapper trail, scattered with brooks that we will cross. In the afternoon, the steep trail will bring us on a hilly circuit towards our camping site, bordering Lake Héron.
Day 5 Today we will go along Lake Hernest, by the old railroad, then gallop along the Bear trail, in the middle of the forest. In the afternoon, we will oversse the magnificent Lake du Sourd, and we will observe many Moose and deer settlements. Camping at Lake Bertrand.

Day 6 We will leave the Reserve in the morning, to get to Lake Kar-ha-kon, then to the village of Kiamika, where we will breakfast. We will then go through the historic covered bridges to get to our riding center at the end of the afternoon. Returning to the comfort will certainly be appreciated! Dinner and night at our Inn.

Lodging: 1 nights in our 3 stars all comfort Inn, double occupancy room.
4 nights in camping in a tent - sleeping bag included.

Meals: 1 dinner and 1 breakfast at the Inn + 4 dinners in front of the fireplace.
2 breakfasts in the small restaurant + 4 picnic breakfasts in the forest.

Rates: 6 days 1385$CAD + taxes (12,95%)
5 days 1180$CAD + taxes (12,95%)(same description, but 1 day less)
minimum 2 participants /maximum 5 per guide
